Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend Lisa Hogan given criminal record warning
Jeremy Clarkson's partner Lisa Hogan has revealed how she was told she could end up with a criminal record for selling non-local produce on their farm.
Fans will see Hogan and The Grand Tour star, 63, together once again in series three of Clarkson's Farm, which follows their life on the Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire alongside Kaleb Cooper and Gerald Cooper.
Now as they prepare for the release of the new season, Hogan admitted a “serious conversation” was had between her and Charlie Ireland, their land agent and advisor, over the produce they wanted to sell in their farm shop.
It was so serious in fact that she learned that their shop could only sell items produced within 16 miles of their farm - and if she didn’t comply, then Hogan could face a criminal record.
Speaking ahead of the series three launch, Hogan shared: “Charlie had to have a serious conversation with me and say that I could end up with a criminal record if I didn’t comply.
“It’s council regulations which I respect, especially after Charlie explained it to me in his clear and concise way.”
As for what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes, she added: “When you first catch up with us again, the restaurant has been forced to close down by the local council.
“We’re allowed to keep our gourmet food van so that we can cook the meat from our animals, which is great, but it would have been nice to continue the restaurant because it’s a stunning spot.”
Elsewhere, Hogan recently revealed her hopes of getting engaged to the former Top Gear presenter after a proposal was mentioned in an episode from the upcoming instalment.
Clarkson and Hogan were set up by mutual friends in 2017 when they met at a party and went public with their romance at the British GQ Awards that same year.
