Al-fresco season is finally here.
With that in mind, it’s time to start thinking about the necessities you’ll need to host outdoors. Perhaps you’re in the market for new garden furniture or maybe it’s time to replace your rusty BBQ. And one ingredient every garden party needs? Booze.
The good news is that Amazon Prime Day is here, so you can make the most of discounts across beer, wine, spirits and more. While the site is more commonly known for tech or homeware essentials, its digital shelves are also stocked with a range of discounted tipples that rival the supermarkets or your local offie.
All needs are covered by the drinks deals on offer. There’s champagne for those with a taste for the finer things, Aperol for the spritz-obsessed, and most spirits – vodka, whiskey and gin, included. And that’s all before you get to budget-friendly beers or discounted crates of wine, including incredible deals on rose, the wine of the summer.
Those who aren’t drinking will be catered for, too, with the retailer’s growing number of no and low options.
The best part? Instead of schlepping heavy bags of bottles and cans from the shops, they’ll be delivered to your door. If you’re a Prime member, you may get your order as early as the next working day.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Bargain-obsessives are sure to have Amazon Prime Day earmarked in their calendar every year.
The online giant’s flagship sale is usually held in July but it’s for Prime Members only. Expect price cuts in every category, from TVs and vacuums to Kindles and lawnmowers, there are discounts to be had across the board.
When is the official Amazon Prime Day in 2024?
Most years, Amazon Prime Day happens during the second or third week of July, but the exact date is only released closer to the time. It’s usually a two-day affair with some of the lowest prices of the year.
How to take part in Amazon Prime Day
If you want to take part in the biggest sale of the year, you’ll need to be signed up for Prime membership. You could pay an £8.99 monthly subscription or subscribe annually for £95, which works out a little cheaper. If you’re a student, it’s half price – so that’s £4.49 a month, or £47.49 per year.
Not only will you be able to shop the sale, but you’ll also get free next-day delivery on many products, as well as a membership to Amazon Music, Prime Video, Deliveroo and Amazon Reading to name a few.
What kind of deals were there last year?
When it comes to booze, it would be easier to list the tipples that aren’t on offer. Usually, the best price cuts are on whisky, gin and champagne – from Jack Daniels to Veuve Cliquot – but you can find rock-bottom prices across nearly all of the categories.
Are there any discounts available at Amazon now?
